TILL DEATH (2021) – This is actually pretty good!
Rating: ⭐⭐ 1/2

This film has no right to be good. On paper it looks like a cheap rip off of Stephen King’s Gerald’s Game where a woman gets handcuffed to her bed after she accidentally kills a husband in a kinky game. Here, Megan Fox plays a woman who finds herself handcuffed to her dead husband as a result of some sort of bizarre plot. In addition, we have Megan Fox heading the cast, who, in my humble opinion, cannot act in any role apart from the role she had in The Transformers. Nevertheless despite her being in almost all the scenes in the entire movie, Till Death actually manages to come across as a decent thriller!
To me, its director, S.K. Dale provided the pivotal skills to make this work. Right at the start when the movie begins, we get an impressive aerial shot of a city skyline. And the movie moves along in interesting progression teasing the viewer along the way by providing the details a bit at a time. He is clever to make the film always look interesting with his quick editing, and camera angles. Despite the limited budget the film does not look or feel cheap. His greatest feat is to make Megan Fox come across as interesting and reasonably believable despite her inability to act. Half the time she just needs to drag herself around hand cuffed to her dead husband so one can say this role is more a physical one and does not require any stretch in terms of acting.
The plot is thin, the running time is just under 90 minutes which is perfect for this sort of films. All we do is to sit back relax and enjoy watching Megan Fox having a really bad day! Now that’s entertainment!
